Pat Lamar
Pat Lamar was born in 1882. After graduating from Savannah's Art Institute, she continued her art studies in New York. In her spare moments, she painted still lifes and landscapes. She also toured Europe. She taught art at Savannah State College, from 1952 to 1969. She also participated in 1957 National Conference of Artists. This conference promoted Black artists as well as their work. She was raised in Missouri where she received her art degrees at the Kansas City Art Institute.
